It's Lily Day!

It's 9 in the morning here right now.  The girls and I (who are in one room together while Scott and Michael share another) have been up since 3 am nursing a lovely case of jetlag.  At least the guys managed to get some sleep last night.

As you can imagine the conversation around here is all about Lily...

Does she know we're coming?
Will she like us?
What if she cries?
Where will she sleep?
Where will she sit?
Will she like this?
Will she like that?

This morning the girls were cuddled in bed together practicing the Mandarin phrases they had learned on the plane on the way over.  They are beside themselves with excitement.

I can't believe the day is actuallly here.  Part of me is just as excited as the girls.  And part of me is sobered about what is going to be happening in just a few hours.

We are off now to the bank to change over our money and then take a MUCH needed trip to Starbucks.

And not too long after that we will meet our guide in the lobby and on our way to Lily.

My VPN isn't working so I'm not able to post anything to Facebook but so long as I can keep using "someone's" work computer with a built in VPN (shhh...don't tell anyone) then I can still access blogger.

Hopefully, I'll be able to upload pictures this way too.  Because by the end of the day I'm going to have a camera full of snapshots of one adorable little girl and her very happy siblings...
