God is.
She is.
My kids are.
My husband is.
Absolutely amazing.
When we arrived at the civil affairs office the room was already full of families that had just received their children. Our guide ushered us into an empty room where we needed to look over some documents.
A few minutes later she left and around the corner we caught a glimpse of that smile.
Lily was standing on the other side of a glass wall and I moved some of the blinds aside and there she was.
Connie, our guide, brought her around the corner into the room and she lit the place up with that smile of hers.
One of us had to finish going over the paperwork and since Daddy was utterly and completely smitten with her, that job then fell to me.

We have prayed for this day, and seeing the bond b/w Lily and your family so quickly made is the goodness of our GOD. Praying that the rest of your time in China is as beautiful as today. WOW! ReplyDeleteOh my precious Lord! She is truly, as her Mommy so perfectly put it, AMAZING! What a strong, beautiful spirit. Look at the light in of Joy in those eyes. It's beyond breathtaking. And I might add Daddy is VERY happy too. You almost need sunglasses to look at that first picture it's so bursting with bright light of LOVE and JOY!
