JACKPOT!

I decided to look a little more closely at the website for the Chinese volunteer group in Lily's district (mentioned in my last post) to see if I could find more photos.  It was fairly time consuming poring over all of their various activities and scanning through all the pictures.  But I've got a pot roast in the oven, so what the heck...

At first I didn't see her.  Other familiar faces were there but not hers.  Maybe this was when she was with her foster family.

I went back as far as 2-22-09.  And that's when I saw it.
Oh gracious, I'd know that sweet pose anywhere.

And then there's this one with her friends...

She's in the front of the boat...snacking and smiling :)
She was 6 when these were taken.  And there are many, many more.
Like this one when she was only 4!

Eating and smiling once again...that's my girl :)
And one more because I just can't resist...

I can't begin to explain what a gift these photos from her past, photos with the friends she's had for most (if not all) of her little life, are to have. 

Thank you Lord for this sweet surprise!

    Oh my! How precious!!! And I can totally see how you'd recognize that sweet face! She's easy to spot! What a darling little girl.
    So thankful for you guys that you have a few glimpses into her earlier days.

    Girl I am sooooo excited for us and can't wait to do this together! I just love that our kiddos are going to be so familiar with one another! Joey's in the striped shirt in the group shot on your previous post and Jacob is the one with the yellow sleeves. This is gonna be great!! No itinerary yet, I'll definitely shoot it over to you as soon as I get it! Woot!

    Ok disregard....yellow sleeves is not Jacob. I.Am.A.Dork. That's what I get for looking for pics at midnight when my typical bedtime lies somewhere around 7pm.
