If a Tree Falls in the Forest...

...and no one is there to hear it...

...but my kids discover it and make a ginormous see saw with it...

...does that absolve me of the guilt I feel for having 6 kids but no play structure in our yard?

I'm thinking "yes."

  1. Bahahaha! That's hilarious! I love it! The lack of structured play equipment has prompted them to use their IMAGINATIONS! Wow, imagine that!

I say you deserve some sort of parenting award for that one.

  2. Who needs a play structure when you have a tree? Reminds me of my sister and I exploring the woods when we were kids!
For the record, we never had a play structure either and we turned out pretty normal... ;)

  5. Well, you have a trampoline. My five kids love their trampoline way better than any play structure. It's been a big hit since we bought it about 6 years ago, and they never tire of it.

  6. Hahaha, that is great! Children are so creative! While we have a play structure it can only accommodate a few children and well, we have 4 and 5 when Dalton comes home! We have such a tiny yard we're blessed to have the play structure but they REALLY want a trampoline!
