We Have a House!

Yesterday was spent making offers and counter offers but by the end of the day we had come to terms on what appears to be our new house in North Carolina. We still have appraisal and home inspection stuff to work through but don't forsee any problems there.

Even though it appears that it is my lot in life to never own a house with a useable basement, we are very thankful to have a new place to soon call "home."

  1. Angela, what a beautiful new place! You still have a porch:) if not a basement. You know if you did have one, it would probably just flood or something! Congratulations!

  3. What a beautiful house! The front porch makes it look so warm and friendly! So you'll have to email me the address so I can figure out how far you will be. And please give us a heads up on moving day ~ we have a few things planned at the end of July, but we'd love to help out if you need it!

  4. So happy for you guys! It is beautiful, from what can be seen and I'm assuming that we'll all be invited to your open house and house warming? ;)
    Looks great for your family.

  5. Congratulations, Sweetie, on the house selection. Dad and I are really happy that this major decision has been done. We are most willing to help you all any way we can (babysitting is always a favorite - but moving is our skill, as you well know). Will call you soon - probably right after I send this comment. Love, Mom

  7. Angela--this home is beautiful. I grew up in an old home with no usable basement--although it was great for storing our canned goods and such. What an amazing year for you...so very happy.
