On the Mend...

Alex is still on the road to recovery after doing battle with the latest virus to hit our house. On days like today, I am thankful for Gatorade, Motrin, Leapsters...

...and Blue's Clues. How did I survive these things before Noggin?

And thanks to the dreaded stomach bug, Lia has found a new indulgence...popsicles.

With 5 kids in the house, popsicles are usually reserved for the sickly, otherwise they are gone in a day.
Try telling that to this face...
Yeah, I'll admit it, I caved. Blame it on the 2 hours of sleep I got last night.
But as you can see nobody, and I mean nobody came between her and that popsicle.

Not even her 100 pound pup (whom she is telling here "Don't even think about it).

I don't know about you but I think she's got a little Clint Eastwood in her. You know, "Go ahead, punk, make my day..."
Makes me glad we bought 2 boxes.

  1. Those little eyes speak SO MUCH louder than words! Hope sweet little Alex continues to recover quickly.

  2. So sorry to see our little guy not feeling well. Hope today is a much better day, and I certainly hope the popsicles are holding out. Such a sad face for such a sweet fellow. Lots of love and hugs, Nana and Granddaddy.
